Rudo has an honours degree in economics from the University of Zimbabwe in Harare. She joined the Safika accounts department in 2008. After occupying various accounting positions she became Group financial manager in 2011.
Nerishini is a chartered accountant who, before joining Safika Resources, worked with auditors KPMG, responsible for the audits of large mining houses and energy companies in South Africa and abroad. Nerishini joined Safika in 2012.
Prabashini holds a national diploma in accounting from the Durban University of Technology. She began her career in Durban in 1997 working in the export department of shipping company Thrutainers International. In 1999 she joined accounting firm Anith Maharaj and Company as a bookkeeper/accountant.
Singathwa ‘Sing’ Elese
Sing has a long career in administration from student politics to working directly with the president of South Africa in his office at the heart of government. She started work in August 1994 at Peninsula Technikon, as an administrator for the Student Representative Council. In May 1997, Moss Ngoasheng, now Safika’s chief executive, hired her to work with him in the office of the then deputy president Thabo Mbeki.
Flora was born and educated in Daveyton, Soweto. After studying Library and Information Science at the University of South Africa and administration at Johannesburg’s Kelly Greenoaks Secretarial and Business College, she joined Safika in 1999 as an office administrator.
Nomadlozi “Noma” Luvuno
Nomadlozi “Noma” Luvuno was born and raised in Soweto. She is a bookkeeper and an accountant who works in Safika’s finance department. She holds a Bachelors of Business Administration degree from CIDA City Campus in Johannesburg and is completing a Bachelor of Accounting Science degree through the University of South Africa.
She also holds certificates in bond markets, equity markets, derivatives markets, financial markets and regulations and ethics from the South African Institutes of Financial Markets (SAIFM).
She began her career with Safika as an intern at the beginning of 2012 and was so successful she was offered a full-time position at the end of that year.
